It is preferable if you have trekking boots to do this walk, but joggers can be worn. They may get wet, so don’t wear your best joggers.

Having said that, they have to be in reasonable condition. Gaiters are preferred, but long pants (quick drying) will protect your legs from scratches.

As far as the swim through the gorges is concerned, you can swim in your walking clothes or swim togs.

So a couple of weeks ago an old friend asked me if I wanted to come walking with the club she had joined, which I agreed to and then forgot about. Yesterday I got an email with the deatails and instructions on where to meet this Sunday. Also it’s a “womens’ walk”.

What are Gaiters?? I think I only own one pair of joggers.

When I die in this “gorge”, feel free to take my things and distribute them amongst yourselves. HEATSTROKE.

I got my bottom braces yesterday! Today I’ve eaten: a banana, tea-soggied biscuits, vegetable juice(it tastes like cold soup), sweet potato and lentil soup, and a cup of milo. Three of these things are liquid and all I’ve really wanted all day is some toast. It feels like there is too much stuff in my mouth, also my tongue is all cut up.
